We will be reading the novel Emma by Jane Austen.
I suggest you read 9 chapters a week. There are 3 volumes and about 18 chapters in each volume, which fits 6 weeks perfectly.
I will put up assignments on this blog and links to a software I use called Kung Fu Writing which is where I can receive your writings.
You may find the novel online at Emma online or buy it at any store or borrow a copy from the library.
After each volume I will give you some reading questions to answer on Kung Fu, which will be graded.
I will also ask you to write an essay or two and do some background reading to understand and appreciate the background of the novel, 19th century England.
